Collecting Seashells on Cape Cod

I walk along Cape Cod’s beach, looking for seashells. The sand is warm under my feet, and the ocean crashes gently. I find a small conch shell, its inside shiny and pink, and a smooth clam shell with little stripes. I put them in a plastic bag, which gets heavier as I walk. A little kid runs by, holding up a big shell, and yells, “Look what I found!” I smile and wave. By the end of the day, my bag is full. This isn’t just collecting shells; it’s taking home tiny pieces of the ocean, memories of the beach.
